Reference Design: Standalone (Bare-Metal) USB Device

Hi everyone,

I started testing the Standalone USB Device example on a Windows 7 64 Bit-System. Compiling and linking works fine (I use usbps_v_1_05_a instead of usbps_v_1_04_a as mentioned in the tutorial).

When I run the program I get the message from windows, that the device driver could not be installed. Does anyone have an idea what I have to do? Is there necessity for a manual driver installation under windows?

EDIT: The device manager in Windows says "the device can not be started. (Code 10)"

    Hi incubus84,

    Which version of tools are you building this in?

    I went to look at this in Vivado 2013.4 which has a predefined ZedBoard hardware platform containing a definition for usbps_v_1_06_a so I loaded the corresponding usbps_v_1_06_a/example code from the SDK install folder.

    Everything seems to be working for me with these two components in place.  Make sure that the hardware platform you are using has a bsp driver version which matches the usbps_v_1_05_a example.  I accidentally tried usbps_v_1_05_a example code on a usbps_v_1_06_a driver and that did not seem to work as well.
