standalone OS  reference design problem

I am trying to run the Zynq standalone OS embedded reference design on my MMP 7z045 eval board. In the Version 1 Aug 2015 instructions titled "Avnet Zynq Mini Module Plus Embedded Design", in section 7.3 Running the Memory Test, after I do the Run As > launch on Hardware GDB, I get SDK Application launcher window that says "Launch Failed, Binary not found. I followed all the instructions up to this point as written. Don't know what the problem is.

    Hi Triacs,

Take a look at this post https://forums.xilinx.com/t5/Embedded-Processor-System-Design/Xilinx-SDK-error/td-p/441406

Typically when you get that error message it is refering to it not seeing you Bitsteam file. Just to double check you had the blue Done Led on when you went to run the application on your board correct.(See step 7.1) That is the step we program your bit file into your FPGA. Also look at the post above and try going through their trouble shooting suggestions.

The bit file was being loaded correctly, it showed me percentages, and then purple done LED went on.  I then tried opening SDK and repeating section 7.2 Setting up the Run configurations, but I could not click on apply after setting the initialization file (which already pointed to the correct ps7_init.tcl file), cause the apply button was greyed out.
