establish a communication link between pc and ZEDBOARD via USB

I am trying to establish a communication link between pc and ZEDBOARD via USB,I want transfer the data from zedboard to pc via usb, then save the data on pc.
How should I do,anyone have done some similar thing,can you give me some advices or give me a refrence ? thanks!

Since nobody reply you yet... Your question is too generic! And where are multiple ways to archive it, but all not trivial.
You didnt describe speed/amount of data or even PC operation system and depending on a requerement/design - you may endup writing/modifying USB drivers.

And since you wnat to use USB - good starting point will be reading a book "USB Complete" by Jan Axelson or similar.

When you are using serial terminal to connect to Zedboard's UART you are already "establishing a communication link between PC and Zedboardd via USB."

So if you just want to get something up running quickly you can have something on your PC thats recording the serial communication.

Otherwise, you can enable a second UART-port on Zedboard than use a USB-FTDI adapter to connect to your PC.

If you want to do this in bare-metal take a look at the XUsbPs examples. If I remember correctly there's some example code for running the ZedBoard as a storage device.

thanks,there is an example in usbps_v1_02_a. I have test it ,but i still don't figure out how config it in my design. i'll take further study !

Thank you!I clarify it more clearly, I need 20 MB/s data transmission via usb ,PC system is XP .I want to understand now, I am in the SDK with bare-metal program calls the API to develop my usb application, or to transplant Linux, and development?
