Here is some additional information from the Xilinx wiki:

    http://wiki.xilinx.com/zynq-linux-driver-usb

    From the Zedboard Users Guide:

    http://www.zedboard.org/sites/default/files/documentations/ZedBoard_HW_UG_v1_6.pdf

On page 34 is the jumper descriptions, which confirms that leaving J2 and J3 open is the correct jumper configuration.

Are you able to confirm that the USB port that you are using on your host machine works by plugging in a different peripheral that you know works?  Such as a USB mouse or keyboard?

Also, do you have administrative rights on your machine?  If you are on a domain, it is possible your Group Policy for your login will prevent hardware from being added to the machine.

    Hi
As I have mentioned earlier we kept open the J2 & J3 jumper settings.

All other devices are detecting in the Host PC.

We have tried the same thing with another board (not zedboard and has android), But the behavoiur is same.

Could you help me what are the configuration parameters for driver level need to be taken care for this issue?

So you are saying that other USB peripherals work, however the Zedboard nor a separate board running Android enumerate?  Do you have another machine that you can see if enumeration occurs on?

The other thought I had was, is the Linux kernel you are using have the USB OTG Slave kernel module loaded.  I will take a look to see if it compiles in by default once I can RDP into my hope server.

I have customer with similar issue...

I have a question about using the ZED board as a USB device which we would like to do. We are able to run the OTG USB demo where we mount a flash drive in Linux. In this demo the ZED is the Host. We tried setting the jumpers J2 and J3 so that the ZED board is a USB device. We plugged the USB cable into a host PC, but the ZED did not enumerate on the PC. Nothing in the device manager.
