Interrupt Handler in Kernel Module

Does anyone have a working linux device driver that works for interrupt of custom ip-cores?

The AR 51138 shows an example ip-core that contains an own interrupt controller that supports multiple interrupt sources and registers into the global interrupt controller of the Zynq. But the example software is only bare-metal not linux.

A short while ago i did the same. this is the thread i used to gather infrmation:
    http://forums.xilinx.com/t5/Embedded-Linux/AR-50572-Axi-timer-interrupts-in-linux/td-p/335077

The driver i posted there is able to start on its own, but you can use a script/application to write&read.
it stops after 100 interrupts, so you might need/want to change that too.

Yes, you should seee a number of messages just by loading the module.

The url is ascreenshot from my terminal after loading the module.

you could try to see if the kernel messages appear if you type 'dmesg'.
if youo do not see any messages at all you coudl try to replace the printk commands (especially in the init procedure) with a version that you know that works for you.

if you still do not see any messages try to make another module that just prints something after insmod and rmmod and see if the problem remains. (becasue if it doesnt, you might want to check the kernel instead of the module)
