Hi,  There is a PYNQ release ready for U96 V2.  In the official github is a basic 2018.3 PetaLinux bsp.  PYNQ uses Ubuntu for the rootfs and the bsp for the pynq build only contains the kernel and device drivers and no packages in the PetaLinux rootfs.

    See: https://github.com/Avnet/Ultra96-PYNQ

Pre-built SD image links for U96 V1 and V2 can be found through the release page:  https://github.com/Avnet/Ultra96-PYNQ/releases

    Best regards

    Hi,

did it works for you? All my attempts fail when building u-boot related files.

I tried all other methods from pynq site, demo videos, forum threads and user guides always with same result.

Do you have some extra precise guide step-by-step that can you share?

    Best regards

This link will be active for 30 days, which upon that time the BSP will only be available for download here.

    Ultra96-V2

We are trying to get this BSP posted formally in the Zedboard community by the end of the week.

    Thanks,

    Josh

Evidently I have been attempting to boot my ultra96v2 using the wrong BSP. Just did a petalinux compile using "Ultra96-V2-2018.3". Booted fine!

    Thank You

    Tom

    Tom,

Did you have any issues with the build?  Or did it take a long time?  My 2018.2 build takes 16 minutes, my 2018.3 build take 2 hours!  The builds are almost the same but chromium is taking a really long time in 18.3.

    thanks,

    jeff
