Disabling Bluetooth/WIFI

We need to physically disable the Bluetooth/WIFI capability on the Ultra96 due to security requirements.
Options we are considering:

Cutting pin 19 (chip enable) on the ATWILC3000 module and tying it to ground
Completely removing the ATWILC3000 module

Has anyone tried this before?

If your estimated us high enough (e.g. more than 100 units) you may want to consider contacting your local Avnet account manager or FAE and inquire about having the board customized for your needs (removing the ATWILC3000 WiFi/BLE module). You may also send an email to customize@avnet.com.
