Ultra96 V2 Reverse Polarity

To whom it may concern,

While testing the Ultra96 V2, I accidentally reversed the polarity of the positive and negative leads and inserted them into the JP1 power terminal. Originally, we had moved the JT6 jumper on the back of the board so that it would boot the board automatically upon powering. However, after reversing the polarity, the board indicates that it is receiving power, but not booting. Is there any diode or component I can replace/bypass in order to let the board boot?

    Hello A.F,

    When you reveresed the polarity and shorted GND to PWR in, you had a very high potential of  damaging the MPSoC. If I were you I would try to attempt to perform a JTAG Boot to see if that works, maybe you just damaged your SD Card? Its impossible to say what exactly may have been damaged based on your simptoms. It may be worth verifying all the power rails are up and operating as well.
