SPI0 example with I/O carrier board

I'm looking for a reference example of using SPI0 via the PS PMOD connector. For example, one thing that I'm wondering about is if anything needs to be done to enable the signals (SCLK, MISO,MOSI, SS). They seem to either be tri-stated or simply driven high to 3.3V, no change in state even though the driver seems to be working correctly (and SPI module control registers responding correctly). Another thought is that I'll need a slightly different bitstream or HDF to enable this.

The UZ I/O Carrier Card doc seems to indicate that SPI0 should be available as default (as opposed to I2C or UART) on pg 18.

The key was to set the pin mux registers correctly, registers 0xff180098 thru 0xff1800ac to 0x00000080. See https://www.xilinx.com/html_docs/registers/ug1087/ug1087-zynq-ultrascale-registers.html and chapter 28 of UG1085.

However, this should probably be updated in the Vivado design to get the FSBL tto set those registers correctly.

Thank you for the feedback, jarvisroach. I will forward this feedback to our UltraZed developers.
