Hello,

When trying to migrate from my Petalinux rootfs to a Debian (downloaded from Linaro), X11 no more starts on my UltraZed. Any ideas?

    Hi vcouvert,

What changes when you migrate from your Petalinux rootfs to a Debian build?

Do you change your HW platform (from Vivado) or your device tree (from PetaLinux) at all?

    Best Regards,

    -Kevin

    Hi zedhed,

    Thanks for your answer.

I did not change anything in the HW platform and I just removed the PCI support in the kernel (as explained here: http://www.wiki.xilinx.com/Zynq+UltraScale%EF%BC%8B+MPSoC+Ubuntu+part+2+-+Building+and+Running+the+Ubuntu+Desktop+From+Sources).

I also tried with the roofs from the image given on this Wiki page (Ubuntu_Desktop_Release_2017_1.zip) and I see the mouse cursor displayed on my screen for a few seconds (I can even move it using the mouse) a nd then it disappear...

    Vincent
