Expired license renewal?

dyessgg
dyessgg over 11 years ago

I purchased my ZED Board over a year ago and am just now able to devote serious time to my design work with it.  Unfortunately my licenses have expired and I can't find the original vouchers (which I don't even recall receiving a ChipScope license voucher).

Is there a way to get a new set of license vouchers for my ZED Board other than spending $$$$$ to buy the software outright from Xilinx?

Thanks

ZedBoard is fully supported for synthesis and implementation within the WebPACK tools. You can generate yourself a new WebPACK license for free. Xilinx will also offer a 30-day trial on any of their advanced tools.

What about the Chipscope license?  I have the WebPack license generated now (for a new computer).  It's the ChipScope license I can't seem to find/renew now.

Once you have redeemed the license voucher, it provides a license for one year. The license will continue to work after the year is up, but you won't be able to update to the latest tools. If you are still using the licensed tools a year later, hopefully you have found enough value in those tools to purchase a license renewal.

If you never redeemed your license voucher and then lost it, unfortunately Avnet does not keep records of which voucher went to which customer. You could try contacting Xilinx Software Customer Service or your local FAE for alternatives. Sorry for the inconvenience, but Avnet cannot be responsible for lost vouchers. Of course you always have the option to create the 30-day evaluation license, and if you find the tool to be useful, then purchase a license.
