I'm looking for a way to transfer an ISE Design Suite license from the account of an employee who has left the organization to someone else still working in the organization. Any help is greatly appreciated.

Hello Oscar,
Go to the Xilinx 'Licensing Solution Center' web page: http://www.xilinx.com/support/licensing_solution_center.htm
Open the tab for "Change the license server / host of a product already licensed"
It will take you to the Xilinx licensing site where you can log in with your organization account and select the license you want to transfer. There you can select the 'modify license' option and make the changes.

The thing is that the license was only in the account of the employee that left. The former employee doesn't remember credentials for accessing the account, and the email address associated with the account doesn't exist anymore, so credentials can't be sent there.
Did you purchase this license 'stand alone' or did you receive it as part of a bundle or kit with a development board? If so, what board or kit and do you still have the 'voucher' for the design tools included with the kit? What device or devices to you plan to target in your development?

The license came with the purchase of the Spartan-6 FPGA Industrial Video Processing Kit. I still have the voucher and I plan to target the Spartan-6 LX150T FPGA.
Any updates regarding this issue?
Hello Oscar,
The voucher that came with your kit is good for one year. If you are still within the year's time frame you will need to contact Xilinx directly as once the voucher is redeemed there is no longer anything that Avnet can do. I did check on a replacement voucher but, since this kit is obsolete, we no longer have any vouchers for this device. I know you had issues dealing with Xilinx directly before, but you should log onto the Xilinx Service Portal rather than Xilinx Tech support for this issue.
The Xilinx Service Portal is here: http://www.xilinx.com/support/service-portal.html
You will need a Xilinx account, so if you do not have the account info from before, you will need to generate a new account.
You can use the free webpack tool suite for some devices but the Spartan-6 LX150 is too large to be supported with the free tools.
Regards,
-Gary
