Xilinx SDK and Yocto

It ist possible (and a good idea) to use the Xilinx SDK with the Yocto toolchain?

From my understanding SDK is needed (or prefered) for creating boot.bin and uboot, while Yocto has some advantages on the Linux side (creating images, application development). Both work with an IDE based on Eclipse.

This would probably be a better question to ask on the Xilinx forum as they developed the Xilinx SDK. We do have a bit of information posted related to some work that the Silica team has done with Yocto:

If you are asking about integrating the two together (since they are both based on Eclipse), I am not aware of anyone who has done that.
