Hi every body,
I am trying to follow basic hello world tutorials: (tried Xilinx zynq-edk-advanced's lab5 and zb.org's 04_MicroZed_FSBL_Boot_2013_2_02, just with minor changes referencing zedboard's hardware instead of microzed's) and I can not get my ZedBoard to show any sign of life while using locally built images!

I am using software version 14.6 on 64 bits debian 7 linux server
I have an AVNET rev C board
I am all set to boot from SD: MIO5, MIO4 -> 3.3V the rest is set to GND, JP6 and JP13 are shortened, VADJ is set to 2.5V

PS: when I use the prebuilt images from the net, it boot OK and every thing seems to work flawlessly! Once I use my university server to build any kind of application then download the .bin file, rename it to boot.bin and copy it to the freshly formatted 1GB SD card the board does not show any sign of life!!!
any lead please! it's an urgent matter!
