BIST (built in self test)

Hi people,

Sorry for asking what seems to be a silly question, but I couldn't find in the documentation nor in other forums. I am having a problem with the integration of my zedboard and a board from Analog Devices... and it seems I have a problem with one specific zedboard, because it works with other zedboards.... I was wandering if the zedboard has a BIST mode.

It seems BIST is available for some of the Xilinx boards (http://www.xilinx.com/support/documentation/boards_and_kits/UG926_Z7_ZC702_Eval_Kit.pdf, page 13) , but I dind't manage to find the an equivalent for for the zedboard.

Anyone has an idea how could I see if the board has an specific problem? Both boards seems to work perfectly, I manage to boot, to use the programable logic, etc. Both are the same review (REV C) the jumpers are put the same way, the hard log from the hardware manager is exactly the same... but in one zedboard my analog device board works perfectly in the other no!

  Thanks in advance...

There is not Built in Self Test on the ZedBoard.

As a substitute you might want to generate the peripheral and memory tests from the built in SDK templates. Lab 4 fo the Avnet Zynq SW Speedway training material steps you through how to generate and run these tests. It also shows you how to modify the memory test to check the complete DRAM memory.

The Speedway lab files can be downloaded here: http://picozed.org/course/developing-zynq%C2%AE-7000-all-programmable-soc-software-vivado-20133-and-201441
