ADAU1761 ALSAMIXER Xillinux

Hi,

Can we use aplay and arecord of Alsamixer with the Adau1761 chip? I built the Xillinux system but the alsamixer doesn't see any soundcard when i make aplay -l.

Only on graphical desktop i can play music by the help of pulseaudio. But i ll make use of a library which uses alsamixer and so the soundcard isn't working.

Anybody used the chip with alsamixer?

So should i use it as an AXI IIC module to use it with ALSA?

If you want to use the ALSA driver in the kernel, that requires reorganizing the PL part according to the schema offered by Analog Devices (in XPS + some HDL editing), and also set up the Device Tree to reflect the updated processor environment. I haven't looked much into this direction, so I can't comment more on this.
