I am working on a project in which i need to measure an analog signal on the Zedboard, preferably on the PMOD header(s). Looking around the forums I have seen example guides for using the XADC interface to measure internal voltages/temperatures on the Zynq7 devices. However, things seem to get complicated/fuzzy when I try to find resources on measuring external voltages. I found this (https://cdn.instructables.com/ORIG/FRT/SYN1/IWMMH04D/FRTSYN1IWMMH04D.pdf) guide for using the Zybo XADC since it appears that the Zybo board has a direct connection between the PMOD and internal ADC, however I could not find whether this was also true for the Zedboard.
An additional issue I have is that i would like to get a 12-bit digital output from the XADC IP which I can use as input to other IPs.
So my question is essentially: Is it possible to measure voltage on the PMOD headers and is it possible to output that measurement on a 12-bit bus to the PL?
