Which is the easiest way to connect a PL to System

Hi all, i am new in the forum and noobie in Hardware Deasing. I have a simple Ipcore that is running and works perfect, it has a 32 bit interface. I wondering which the easiest way to connect this to my PL and system. For example, suppose i have a simple dual port ALU and i want to use it in linux, my work is to build the driver.Which is the fastest way (developing time) to do this?. As far as i can see, the easiest way to do this is to map the 2 inputs of the ALU to a some region in memory. Is possible?

the easiest way i guess is to create an axi slave interface through the xps create custom peripheral menu and then to instantiate alu inside the axi slave module.

Xillybus will soon release a version for Zynq. This means a plain FIFO on the PL, and a plain device file on the Linux machine. Just like the existing PCIe version.
