ZedBoard Hardware Design Run Program without Simulink

Run Program without Simulink

Hi all,

does anybody know if it's possible to store a simulink model, i.e. the generated c-code and bitstream (for the fpga), on the zedboard? I want the zedboard to boot and execute a model in external mode without simulink.

    External mode is meant to connect Simulink to Zynq PS over Ethernet in order to tune parameters, and monitor the algorithm running in PL through an AXI interface. If your algorithm is already fully operational and needs no further debugging, then you simply run the executable on Linux on the ARM processor. The generated embedded software includes AXI driver code, generated from the AXI driver blocks, that controls the HDL IP core.
     
    This example is a good introduction to the MathWorks hardware-software codesign workflow:
