Galen Hunt announces that the general availability is timetabled for February 2020.

Also the Linux SDK as mentioned by Alphons a few days ago, Plan for changes coming to the Azure Sphere SDK in next release!

New chips from NXP and Qualcomm

And support for VSCode

Thanks Workshopshed , I read this https://media.nxp.com/news-releases/news-release-details/nxp-and-microsoft-bring-microsoft-azure-sphere-security,
which puts another hardware vendor (NXP) within Microsoft's camp. The hardware choice was very interesting including an independent audio/video processing domain powered by high-performance HiFi4 DSP core.
The Qualcomm announcement, https://www.qualcomm.com/news/releases/2019/10/15/qualcomm-technologies-enhance-secure-cellular-connectivity-solutions, included this:
Qualcomm Technologies’ new Azure Sphere-certified chipset for IoT will include hardware-level security, come preconfigured with the Azure Sphere, and will automatically connect to Azure Sphere security cloud services.
This raises the question of using Tenants in that context? I guess we can wait and see how that gets done...
