i am not able to register my azure sphere kit because I do not have institutional email.
I started here, https://account.azure.com/organization and followed the steps, that is all I did 
After that, you will need to create a tenant to claim your device, and perhaps (maybe) will need to restore the OS manually if encountering problems to do so (I had to do it in order to be able to create the tenant).
