Ultra96-V2 Getting Started Guide v2.0
This build is based on the BSP discussed in this blog by drozwood90
Updated Designed By Avnet BSP & Platforms for v2020.1 tools, the 1 command to rule them all edition!
The highlight of this release is the addition of the PMIC Read and Programming utility. This now allows you to do multiple things very easily from within Linux:
- Read telemetry from on-board PMICs and Sysmon
- Verify programming revision of the three on-board Infineon PMICs
- Re-program PMICs 0x13 and 0x14 to the latest revision, allowing for the highest DPU performance
This upgraded DPU performance has been discussed multiple times. The previous PMIC update procedure required external dongles and tools. You can read more about this PMIC Update and the affect on DPU performance in ctammann's blog and webinar and albertabeef's Vitis AI 1.2 project.
