is there a cmd interface directly to the Monarch?

I'm reviewing the "AVNET Monarch LTE-M Development Kit" and was wondering if anyone can point me in the right direction to send a command to test if the Modem is connected?

I see that there is AT command interface to for the PI starter kit.

"Launch serial terminal conﬁgured with 115200 baud rate, 8 data bit, hardware ﬂow control, no parity, 1 stop bit.

Type ATI1 to get software version and AT+PING=”www.sequans.com” to check connectivity"

Can the Monarch Go Arduino Shield work this way? I guess I could try it?

Hi Stephen, No there isn't a direct connection to the CMD interface of the Monarch Go in which you can do direct AT commands (not like the Pi Hat). This can be accomplished though by doing a pass through…

Hi Stephen,

No there isn't a direct connection to the CMD interface of the Monarch Go in which you can do direct AT commands (not like the Pi Hat). This can be accomplished though by doing a pass through application in which you send your commands directly through the terminal instance connected to your LPC55S69-EVK passing it to the Monarch Go UART and reading the response.

Unforutnatly I don't have an example code here for you to start with.

Pass thru app?
would I be using stdin? like your using the printf()? which is std out
