USB development kit/board

I was wondering if the developers of USB based products can share their experiences with the USB development kits they own and what would they like to see in the next generation kits.

Here are the two kits that I own:

    I want a USB to RS232 (db25 and db9) connection.

I want to use it for driving CNC equipment, so the signal can not be altered. I am sending pulses, and if one is missed, the entire part that is being cut is useless.

Wait, USB can loose a packet? Why sending pulses when you can send vectors?

You can consider using a Virtual COM Port. VCP drivers are available or you can also develop it.

One of my customers is using the VCP successfully.
