Hi all,
I'm on my 3rd day of using Eagle, and have already managed to almost lose a file I worked on for 4 hours yesterday. After staring in horror at old (and blank) backups of my schematic (despite my obsessive Ctrl+S habit), I found the .s## backup text file, noticed it had my last changes documented, made a copy of the file, and changed the file extension to .sch. That brought my poor, hungry, lost, .sch back into civilization.
If the v6 tutorial is implying that this is standard procedure for file recovery, it doesn't mention it explicitly. What do you do when you can't restore your files?
