hello sir

     i have using mosfet irfp9240 for buck converter with driving totem pole configuration  and input frequency around 1khz only. if driving this method means rise time of signal is goes to very high and falll time is very low. mosfet not switching perfectly. can you tell me the reson for not switching properly. i have read one article . if you want MOSFET perfectly SWITCHING then calculate the gate require current. so can you tell me how to calculate the require gate current

    We can't even begin to guess as to why it doesn't switch properly unless you post a schematic (as a .pdf or .jpg so everyone can read it).

    This circuit doesn't look like any buck regulator I know - where is the inductor ?

    Where did the circuit come from ?

     

    I'm on hols right now but if you post a description of what you want the finished regulator to do I'll see if I can help on Monday.

     

    (and just post in this group - don't post in the Eagle group as well because it isn't an Eagle problem.)

    as per our requirement output pulse vary from 0 to 60 volt pulsed mode

    condition and continouse mode of operation.  output require pulse as well

    as continouse . so only not come inductor capacitor. this is 60 v 7a and

    420W POWER supply as per my requirement

    I think you need to explain properly what you are trying to do here. What is the load on your circuit ? Do you really want to be able to output  a variable pulse or steady voltage between 0 and 60V at 7A from a 60V supply?

    (If you do I hope you realise that the output device will need to be capable of handling 420W).
