I bought Farnell # 2528636 Led Tweezers to quick check or to compare Vf binning of individual LEDs.
It might also be useful tool for our production to check if LED is assembled correct polarity etc.
Comparing to DMM diode range the Tweezers measuring voltage reaches to 5 V.
The problem is white LEDs which have ESD protection circuit integrated..and most of them do have.
Sometimes Tweezers found correct Vf of LED but mostly it founds 0.7..0.9 V which is ESD circuit.
Does anyone who have bought these faced same problem?
It would be good if you can manually set low limit of scanned Vf to 1.2 V for example.
Any experiences? Tips?
