Who can recommend a good Battery management System (BMS)?

I'm looking for a BMS (Battery Management System that does a good job on battery balancing and battery protection against both overcharging and undercharging. Can you recommend one? If so please give me the model and site of the BMS and the ordering information.

Thanks

James

    Luis,

I will try to better explain what I'm trying to do. Below is the link to the YouTube video of the DIY battery pack I want to Build

    https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=SJGKuriGRok&list=PL6DXbgcdJ-6w8vzAh2zY5L0bLbmM9-K32&index=3&t=0s

    I plan to use Headway 38120s LifePO4 Battery Cells (They are 3.2v nominal and 3.65v charged 10ah (1000mah) 10c cells at 100amps).

    https://solargeni.com/Batteries/LifePO4

    Battery balancer (Hobby Charger)

    https://smile.amazon.com/Battery-Charger-Li-ion-Balance-B6-Blue/dp/B07T29TQPF/ref=sr_1_6?keywords=hobby+charger&qid=1570…

    Solar Charger Controller (Genasun GV-5 (part# GV-5’Li-14.2V).

    https://www.amazon.com/Genasun-GV-5-Li-14-2V-Controller-Lithium-Batteries/dp/B01N9BP7VL/ref=asc_df_B01N9BP7VL/?tag=hypro…

BMS (Battery Management System. A BMS system is shown in the video

    https://www.batteryspace.com/PCM-with-Equilibrium-function-for-12.8V-LFP-Battery-Pack-30A-limit.aspx

    https://shop.lipopower.de/BMS-4S-40A-LiFePO-flach-mit-Balancer-und-Tempsensor-351

I was told that a BMS is used to protect the battery from over charger and depleting the battery. But that a battery balancer is needed, and that is where the Hobby Charger comes in. The Solar charger is needed to charge the batters.

As this is a DIY project and I am NOT an Electrical engineer, I need help and advice as to how to build this DIY battery pack. I'm looking for either a device that does all this or to have someone help me design a circuit for this.

    Requirements

    1) Keeping this as cheap as possible

    2) keeping this as portable as possible

    3) Making the design so that it can work with various amps. the highest amperage would be 100AMps

If there is anything wrong with this please let me know. If you have a better way for me to do my own DIY battery pack, again please let me know>.

Thanks for yours and the Communities help. Love Element14
