Light weight RTOS needed

I am looking for a light weight RTOS that can run favourable on PIC and Propeller processors.

I plan on developing a user interface for robotic control that will have room for expandability. I do not want just a fancy menu, I envision a system that will benefit highly from the advanced multitasking features of a RTOS.

How about http://www.freertos.org/? Looks like you'd be able to avoid any licensing fees which I think is a stickler with many RTOSes. Anyways, I've not actually used a RTOS before so I'll be interested to see how your selection goes.

Have you checked with Paralax? They may have some suggestions for you or they might already have some that their users group may have created. I have found thier website a very good source of code and information.
