I have a project coming up where I may need a OLED display. So, in preparation I would like to get a development kit for such a display. Any recommendations?
It would be ideal in the devkit had a 1"x1" or smaller display.

Hi Cabe,
Take a look at the new Audio/Capacitive touch board for the MSP430 Launchpad. It has a nice OLED display, I think it is two rows by twenty characters, but you can get the details from TI.
Hope this helps,

I need something more like a cellphone display. Thoughts?

Try contacting the OLED manufacturers to see if they might have some "pre-production" models with the kind of size and resolution you need.
You might get lucky. Eitherway, you will get a good handle on what is available and what might be coming next.
You could possibly put two or three of the current OLED devices together, but it will take some extra software to have your data flow down the screen like a single display.
It all depends upon your requirements for pixels, brightness, size and power usage.
Good luck,

Dab,
This is where I need the community's help. Who makes a good dev kit for OLED screens?
Cabe
Hi Cabe,
I did a quick web search on OLED Arrays and they appear to be standard display modules available from many manufacturers. At least one was 128x128x256 full color. If you check with some of the manufacturers, they might have development kits or can recommend other methods to get up to speed on the devices.
