Java interface w/ Arduino Mega...

I am looking for the best Java interface to Arduino, Can anyone give a hand...? What are the considerations I need to make if our purpose is to adapt the arduino mega with a potentionmeter. I found a doument by RoboBASIC. Could I be in the right track? Thanks!

    Greetings Techobb,

     

    Can you supply a bit more information as to your question?  To interface directly with the Arduino you can use the Arduino programming environment, which is Java based already.  However, if you want to write your own Java interface then I would concentrate on interfacing with a serial port which is what the Arduino can communicate with rather easily.
