I've recently purchased PiFace Digital 2 but can't find a legend or manual anywhere why wasn't one supplied with interface.
Thanks in advance for any help...

As far as I can tell there isn't one and the schematic is not officially published. This has been a problem with the PiFace parts from the outset. I suggest you attempt to contact Dr Andrew Robinson (the chief Face of PiFace) directly and ask him why a product marketed under the auspices of a publicly funded university and claiming to be intended for education is not supported with the most basic documentation. ((see link)
You can write to PiFace's corporate self here: OpenLX SP Ltd, 145-157 St John Street, London, EC1V 4PW
I have no idea what the true agenda of the PiFace team is but I find their attitude to publishing hardware details totally incomprehensible.
I hope this thread can shame them into an explanation, and better still publishing some basic documents.
I'm sorry you've spent money and been let down.
There is a schematic for the Piface Digital 1 here: https://github.com/Elektordi/pi-accesscontrol/blob/master/doc/rpBreakOutV0_4_sch.pdf
I haven't found one for the 2 on the web.

Hello Jamie,
There is still no schematic or parts list and no attempt at all at an explanation of how it works. Yet this product is marketed as an aid to education and as an add on to a product which is claimed to be for education.
Just about every single commercial dev board you sell is supported by a full schematic and a BOM - why is the PiFace different ?

Hello MK,
I will take a look into this.
Thank you,
Jamie
