Where is the best place to get info about microprocessor designs?

Dear community mates, I hope that I am not breaching any rule here. Though, I would like your help on a project I´m working on. It is about IoT, and I would like to have your ideas on where is the best place to get information about chip designs. Bellow, you have a link to a survey that I created.   • The simple answer is manufacturer's data sheets. However, there are scores of manufacturers and many thousands of chip data sheets. You can get data sheets from each manufacturer web site, but big distributors have links to all datasheets from all manufacturers that they carry and their search engine parametric filters allow focusing on just the chips of interest.

    If you want information on the internal structure of chip design, you either have to join a chip manufacturing company or a reverse engineering analysis company. University courses provide some generic chip design info and there are lots of papers written on various aspects of chip design, but so much of it is secret, the public sources are not really enough to get a full and detailed picture of what is going on.
