  • I showed up and listened to it all.  Supposedly, the video will be available in a day or two here on element14.  Will post the link at a later time.  The best part, IMO, was getting to understand the big picture of how additional features are added to the base M0+ and M4 families of microprocessors.  With small increases in cost, pin count goes up and capabillities are added whilst the processor core remains the same which means the previously developed code executes as before.

    Thanks for the update.  I keep trying to get E14 to make these informational presentations On Demand so that we do not have to fight the time zone issues.

     

    I look forward to exploring the architecture for this road test.  My engineering specialty was analysing and assessing capabilities and limitations of multiple processor systems. 

     

    Exploring a new device is always a good learning experience to see how the designers view their approach to improving MCU capabilities.  I also want to see their approach to power savings.  After my detailed look inside the MSP430 line I have a good list of issues to look at and explore.
