I cannot access FRDM - KL25Z via PUTTY (or similar Terminal)

Hi Martin,

Can you share the executable files or project folder and the serial port settings(baudrate..) so that i can test it from my end. usually this happens if baud rate is not matching.

HI,

so there are no executable files yet, the idea is to directkly access the board and by typing in S0 to S5 the reading of the built in sensors is printed to the terminal. (According to the manual of the xtrinsic board)

The baud rate is 115200 and has been tested by the serial_test_115200.srec which is available in the Start Up package from OpenSDA for the frdm board  (this one works)

The rest is: serial port connection (COM as assigned by my computer), 8 bits, 1 stop bit, now flow control, no parity bit.

I understand you are interfacing Xtrinsic sensor board along with KL25Z freedom board.

please find enclosed the "sensors_freedom.srec" file with which you can evaluate Xtrinsic sensor board interfaced to KL25Z

Is the source package available? That would be handy for a reference.

For other people who find this -- I could not update the boot drivers and the PEMicro files from Windows 10. I had to re-boot my system under the XP operating system. Once I update to version 1.11 it worked fine.

The new Freescale development system (Version 3.x) works as well and I have compiled and run some programs using the pe-link access to the Freedom KL25Z board.

Also -- is there a working WiFi or Ethernet interface that would be easy to integrate?
