FRDM-KL25Z open sda application

If I understand well, you are trying to program a precompiled project example for FRDM-KL25Z thanks to the OpenSDA MSD mode.

Reading your other posts, it seems that you had some issues with the OpenSDA modes, does it means that you solved them ?

Some antivirus are encrypting the datas of removable/external drive, which generate some issues with OpenSDA and SREC programming. Could you please check if you are using an antivirus like Sophos on your computer ?

Yes you are right, for begining i am trying to load the precompiled examples which has comming with the user manual file,

After the long trail i can able to enter the FRDM-KL25Z driver in windows explorer, that was happened by copied the particular version of the .sda file, i had copied the MSD-FRDM-KL25Z_Pemicro_v105.SDA to the BOOTLOADER drive.(Because mistakenly copied the _v107.SDA file to the BOOTLOADER)

But again, while checking the examples like blinky programes which has given in the open sda user file is not supported. the status of the board is remain programming....., after pasted the other examples.....

What may be the wrong thing which i did,,, please suggest me to fix the problem and make the board work for an application.

Download the FRDM-KL25Z_QSP: FRDM-KL25Z Quick start package from below link:

and follow the instructions given in "FRDM-KL25Z Quick Start Guide (Rev 1.0).pdf"

FRDM-KL25Z Quick start package contains "OpenSDA Applications" folder which has the updated application drivers (MSD and Debug) make sure first you drag the MSD application to the freedom board by pressing the button and inserting the USB cable then remove the usb cable and reinsert the usb cable without pressing the button then you can see the mass storage device drive/folder by the name "FRDM-KL25Z" now you can drag and drop the precompiled SREC files given in "Precompiled Examples" folder, then you can see the board executes the SREC file.
