Electrocardiograph Development Kit For Tower System
The NXP's TWR-MED-EKG is an electrocardiograph sensor for medical applications development that currently can be plugged to TWR-MCF51MM or TWR-S08MM128 Tower System modules. A medical-oriented development tool for the 9S08MM Flexis 8-bit and MCF51MM ColdFire 32-bit MCUs. The Medical EKG Module (MED-EKG) is a low cost development board that allows users to rapidly prototype electrocardiogram (EKG/ECG) applications. Users can choose to develop EKG/ECG applications using the external analog components or by using the Flexis MM microcontroller’s on-chip analog modules or a mixture of both. MED-EKG is designed to work with the TWR-MCF51MM module and TWR-S08MM128 module.
TWR-MCF51MM-KIT features the 32-bit MCF51MM256 microcontroller and the TWR-S08MM128-KIT features the 8-bit MC9S08MM128 microcontroller. Peripherals between these two 32- bit and 8-bit MCUs are either identical or compatible; they are called the Flexis devices. The TWR-MCF51MM module is a development board for the MCF51MM256 Flexis ColdFire 32-bit MCUs. It is designed to aid in the evaluation and prototyping of medical applications and includes an electrocardiograph sensor (MED-EKG) as part of the evaluation system.
The TWR-S08MM128 is a development tool for the 9S08MM128 Flexis 8-bit microcontrollers that supports external communications interfaces and an open connector for an MED-EKG development board. It is designed to aid in the evaluation and prototyping of medical applications and includes an electrocardiograph sensor (MED-EKG) as part of the evaluation system.
