The data sheet says it has CAN and LIN BUS onboard already.

Ah so you have the spirit of the 'put it through its paces' crowd but may have voted 'I'd need some parts.'

Interesting evaluation board for some AUTOSAR applications and it has MATLAB support too! Including the Motor Control Shield and CAN/LIN Communications Expansion Board would be preferable for testing.

Yes but having additional channels allows to test by segmenting the bus, having no congestion? It also has some FLEXCAN connected to CAN's PHY making it effective to manage the bus so having more than one bus may help to test it?

    Hi!

I would be quite interested, and I already have all which is needed, including AUTOSAR and QNX support.

    I'll hope for the best.

    Cheers!

Definitely wouldn't mind playing with this little guy, but not for sure if I have enough knowledge already at hand on the automotive features to truly put it through it's paces.  I have a great deal of experience with micro-controllers and robotics in general and in an automotive manufacturing environment, but these types of features are not as widely used on the manufacturing side of the automotive industry, at least not the metals side where I come from.  I'm not sure I would feel right saying I "put it through its paces" without testing the specialty features it boasts, but I could definitely put it through it's paces in the context of a general use micro-controller.

    Interface convenience, presumably.
