PIC24FJ128GA310 Plug-In Module
The MA240029 is a PIC24FJ128GA310 plug in module for use with Explorer 16 development board. This plug in module is small circuit board used with the Explorer 16 development board (DM240001 and DM240002) to evaluate PIC24FJ128GA310 microcontroller. The PIC24F 16bit Microcontroller features nanoWatt XLP for extreme low power consumption. The device includes advanced low power features including a low voltage sleep mode that maintains the device state and RAM with a typical current of 340nA and a Vbat pin that automatically transitions to the RTCC to a battery supply when Vdd is removed. This microcontroller is also includes a 480 segment LCD driver with 60 segment x 8 common drive capability.
The plug in module plugs into the main processor socket of the Explorer 16 development board so that different microcontrollers can be used for prototyping, demonstration or development quickly and easily. Most of the pins from the device (PIC24FJ128GA310) are mapped directly to the PIM connecter (100-Pin ICE). The exceptions are those pins that are remapped to provide remappable functionality to the pins in the PICtail™ Plus socket.
Key Applications: Communications & Networking, Power Management, Sensing & Instrumentation, Imaging, Video & Vision
