EFM8SB1 Sleepy Bee 8-bit MCU Starter Kit
The Silicon Labs EFM8 Sleepy Bee Starter Kits are an excellent starting point to evaluate and develop very low power applications on the EFM8 Sleepy Bee MCUs. These energy-friendly EFM8 MCUs are based on the popular 8051 core and are ideal for IoT systems processing data that comes from port I/O or sensor inputs. The SLSTK2010A starter kit is used to evaluate EFM8SB1 device. The kits are enabled with Advanced Energy Monitor (AEM) that can be used in conjunction with the Energy Profiler tool in Simplicity Studio for real-time current and voltage monitoring.
The EFM8SB10F8G-A-QFN24 is part of the Sleepy Bee family of 8051 based 8-bit MCUs. Built on top of a low power platform this device is well suited for any battery-operated application. The EFM8SB10F8G-A-QFN24 includes 8 kB kB Flash, 512 kB RAM, 17 Dig I/O Pins, 4 x 16-bit Timers, 3 PCA Channels and additional peripherals including UART, SPI and I2C.
