Hopefully, Cypress has an update to Creator to match when this kit ships. Currently no support for PSoC4.

    Yes.  I am going to release a service pack for Creator 2.2.

    It is going to have a bunch of new components that we built just for PSoC 4.

    The Pioneer board is on my desk right now.. it has a bunch of really cool features.

    Alan,

    Very good to hear. Will any of the new components facilitate interfacing with Arduino shields?

    We are not currently working on any Arduino specific components.  Though many of our components are perfectly capable of interfacing with Arduino shields.

    @Mark,

    Just so you're aware, Cypress released PSoC Creator 2.2 Service Pack 1 with support for the new PSoC 4 families.

    If your install hasn't auto-updated already, you can download it here as well - http://www.cypress.com/creator

    New Components in PSoC Creator 2.2 Service Pack 1

    • PSoC 4 Optimized Components (a whole set of new Components designed to take advantage of the new PSoC 4 programmable IP blocks)
    • ILO Trim
    • I2C LCD

    Although we are not releasing any Arduino-specific Components, in the following weeks we will be releasing various community example projects that demonstrate how you can use PSoC Creator to interface with many 3rd party Arduino shields. Watch this space for more! -
