PSoC 4 Pioneer Kit Community Project#068 – PSoC 4 Getting Started Lab 2 (PWM LED)

Today’s post is our second in the Getting Starting Lab series. We’ve included the example projects and templates in the post below. The Getting Started Lab document and PDF are also included. This example expands on yesterday’s LED Blinky, by having a PWM to drive an LED. We have seen various flavors of this example in our prior projects. This example is focusing on providing a detailed set of instructions to create the lab example.

 

We hope by the end of this short mini-series you will be able to create new projects on PSoC 4, wire up hardware, use basic PSoC 4 features, and be able to forward on that learning to anyone that might be interested in PSoC.

Please take the time to follow the instructions to create your first PSoC Creator example using the Pioneer board.

 

Firmware Description:

 

For this example please download the example projects, template files, and the workshop documents and begin following the instructions to create your first example.

 

Hardware Connections:

 

All hardware connections will be discussed in the attached workshop document.

 

Test Your Project:

 

Please take a moment to review the workshop document. We will be releasing three more workshop examples this week, so stay tuned.

    i changed the code in the next form:

    if( PWMCompare >= 1000 && PWMCompare_2 >= 1000  && PWMCompare_3 >= 1000)

       PWMCompare = 10  ;

       PWMCompare_2 = 100  ;

       PWMCompare_3 =PWMCompare + PWMCompare_2 ;

      

      

        PWM_1_WriteCompare(PWMCompare); /* Replace this line with the PWM write compare API */

         CyDelay(1);

        PWM_2_WriteCompare(PWMCompare_2); /* Replace this line with the PWM write compare API */

         CyDelay(1);

        PWM_3_WriteCompare(PWMCompare_3); /* Replace this line with the PWM write compare API */

         CyDelay(1);

    and got the following results
