I've had my element14 account for way longer than I've worked for Cypress. I didn't realized I'd never updated the e14 account with new details.  I've gone in and done that - thanks for pointing it out.  I never meant to hide the fact I work for Cypress!

I am using Google's free forms tool for the survey.  I'll admit the price was right.  I did make the survey so that you could choose to answer any questions and leave others blank.  If you have any feedback, please enter it and just leave the email blank.  You can send me a direct email to RBYN at cypress and I'll enter you for the drawing outside the system.

We have gotten a lot more responses than I expected and I am going to up the giveaway to 50 boards so the chances of getting one are a bit higher.

Well done ... and thanks for the response.

I've done the survey now I know about it.

I'm downloading all of the video series now, and while I usually prefer text based, I realise more can be done in a video.

I have downloaded the software and have a few boards, but sadly other thing keep cropping up so I haven't used them .... yet.

However I have added both versions of CY8CKIT-049 to my basket at element14 ... not sure how I missed them earlier.

Those CY8CKIT-049 boards didn't seem to have any publicity when they were released and apparently flew under everybody's radar.  "Max" Maxfield has an amusing 'blog about this at Geek Times, with some useful comments.

It seems to have been missed by many. (I do recall Douglas mentioning it back in June)

Whats worse is they don't show in the design centre.

Perhaps we should be encouraging element14 to do a RoadTest or Challenge with them.

I think Christian is busy until Xmas but running something in the new year would be ideal.

I prefer to read too so I posted all the scripts to the videos in the Cypress Developer Community forums.  You can find them here.  I know sometimes it's much faster to skim through the transcrips and see if you'd like to watch that particular video (or section).

We also translated them into Chinese.  We haven't subtitled the videos but do have the translated documents to follow along.  Those are all here.

The 049 kit is a great inexpensive way to get started in PSoC.  Based on the survey results so far, Alan will be doing a Bootloader and Bootloadable course with this board to help new users debug this system a bit easier.

Video is great but sometimes you just need a single word or reference to trigger the gray (or is that dead) matter.
