We previously shared a demos of our miracast solution running on different flavor of Linux, Buildroot, yocto and Tizen and different architectures (Intel x86, Freescale’s iMX6 …).
Today we’re happy to show a working setup based on cheap hardware configuration.

The source of the video stream is coming from Allwinner’s A80 powered Optimus board, this powerful device is running android 4.4.2 and can be used standalone since it ships a WiFi adapter.
On the sink side, our software is running on Olimex Olinuxino micro BSP powered by Allwinner A20 and running Ubuntu with Sunxi kernel.
Note that video playback is accelerated using Cedar module and requires this patch to be applied to libva :
