Out of the Box image - display is not working

Hi,

I have recently got the Avnet's Maaxboard and tried the OOB images given in product booklet. But i am not able to get the login screen. Also i have tried to build the uboot from the Linux source provided in the embest website which is also not working. Can someone help me here to get the board working quickly.

Hi Baski,

I assume your using a HDMI monitor connected to the HDMI Connection? Or are you refering to using a MIPI DSI Display with this board?

Hi,

Thank you for your reply. I have tried with the HDMI monitor to HDMI port. I saw the booting the sequences after that it is not showing any login screen.

Hi Baski,

Do you receive any error codes in the boot log. If you are using the yocto based image, you shouldn't have to log in, it should just automatically boot into the Desktop enviroment. Also I have only tried it personally using a 16GB/8GB class 10 SD Card.

Hi Josh,

I am using Yocto image and i have noticed that it logged in without asking the password. But I am not seeing the Desktop environment completely. How to get the complete desktop view? I have tried changing the screen size in the HDMI monitor, but still not able to get the full view.

Hi,

How strange, for me it populates the desktop environment every time. What resolution is your monitor?

Are you opposed to using the Debian image? These were posted last week
From a support standpoint we at this time are only able to support the Debian releases, not yocto.
I wrote a blog dictating what is currently available.
