Are there any off the shelf carrier boards with Ethernet/USB/RS485/RS232/HDMI for Pi COM3?

It will be great to have a such a carrier board which can be used for lot of industrial and commercial use cases

I don't think so. The compute module has always seemed strangely unappreciated. I suppose it's because once you want to add that to a COM3 then you might as well get the standard Pi.

    Thank you David

Unfortunately as popular as it is, the design of the Pi board is kind of awkward with ports sticking out on multiple sides. Normal Industrial SBC's have all the ports accessible from one side, which makes it more practical.

Perhaps Element14 can consider a Pro board, which follows normal industrial SBC design based on COM3 or maybe do a kickstarter!? (maybe not much, but we would be willing to buy 25 or 50 boards to start)
