What is ELEMENT14 - MCIMX6 SOLO - RIOT BOARD DEVELOPMENT PLATFORM ?

Former Member
Former Member over 11 years ago

This popped up recently here 23553532355353 apart from it seemingly being an iMX6 Solo something or another, there's no info available.  Lots of stock for something that would seem unlikely to be ordered unless you already know what it is. Google and other avenues are failing me. Can't find it on the Embest website either and given it shows e14 as the manufacturer it seems likely it'll be an embest design.

Anyone know what it is, or have pointers to more info ?

Here's the USA version of the board at Newark: http://www.newark.com/riotboard/mcimx6-solo/riot-board-development-platform/dp/07X2279

There's a low-resolution photo, and an image of what RIoT stands for except that it's blurred out: "Rsxnwrdewrwing the Internet of Things".  So we get a day to guess what "Rsxnwrdewrwing" really says.

Sagar, I don't think I'm stealing much thunder since the photo is too small to show details.  If I am: "Sorry about that, Chief".

There's a datasheet popped up now.. says it's 12.77MB, but only 9.2MB downloads and it appears to be corrupt. Anyone else have success downloading it ?

I tried and got a corrupted file.  It doesn't even start with a valid %PDF version string.

Yes I got a corrupt copy too, however, some PDF recovery tools do extract some information from the corrupt file image

Nah, I just happened to look at the Activity stream at the right time.  Hey, you're the one who found 2355353 in the first place -- how did you do that?

Usual way, searching for something else and it was at the top of the list - what I was really looking for was on page 2 image
