UDOO allows you to switch between Linux and Android in a few seconds, simply by replacing the Micro SD card and rebooting the system.

    Not tried it.  It seems to be one of those slightly oddball devices, if you have a use for the onboard arduino and can live with shared gpio connections it may make sense. Otherwise it looks like an expensive arduino, or an expensive i.MX6 based SBC. The combination only works if you're going to make full use of both.

     

    Both the Arduino and i.MX6 sides have fairly good support, so it's still a reasonable device if it matches what you want to do.

     

    Personally I have several other i.MX6 boards and I like them, the SoC has some of the best support and performance in it's price range.  On the other hand, I have absolutely no interest in arduino, so the UDOO isn't for me.
