I just purchased the BBview 7.0 cape and a new Beaglebone Black. I followed the instructions and updated the Debian image to the March 1st 2015 version. I'm still unable to get an image on the display. The back-light is glowing dimly, and the display has a faint image that is the result of the pixels not being processed. I followed the instructions at the bottom of the Newark page for the BBview 7.0 for loading the patches. The PDF manual for the display is of little help since it is out of date having been published May 21st 2014. Now that all of these changes have been made the display on the HDMI monitor is slightly screwed up.
How do I get this thing to work? Do I have to buy another BBB to revert to the earlier version of the OS?
