Hangin' with Mr Kridner.

It's been a heck of a week for Beaglebone, after launching at Design West, so we are grateful to jkridner from Beagleboard.org for taking the time to speak to our community members and element14 people on a Google hangout today. Jason explained in depth about what the possibilities of the Beaglebone Black are and took some really interesting questions from community members interested1 and sqkybeaver, with element14 team members fustini, Cliff Ortmeyer and jealderson1.

Unforunately, my darn cable modem decided to go wonky halfway, but thank goodness for G+ app on my Android smartphone.  The question I asked about about the real-time applications of the PRUs (Programmable Real-time Unites) in the BeagleBone Black's processor.  They are essentially two 200MHz 32-bit microcontrollers that can communicate with the 1GHz ARM Cortex A8.  Here's a good discussion: http://www.element14.com/community/message/73205#73289
